I remember the first time I picked up a pen and pad to write my first song. It was a diss track about my freshman basketball coach who wasn’t giving me and my boy the playtime we thought we deserved. We went in—“You hear the f’n fans, screamin’ in the stands, they tellin’ him you sorry…” (I won’t say the name, but you get it). That track sparked something, and from that moment on, rapping became more than just a hobby—it became who I was.

Fast forward to now, and I’ve built a name as Bebo—a rapper, an artist, and the founder of Stick Up Mob Records, a label I’ve led since day one. I came up in The Cross (Crosstimbers in Houston, TX), a place where dreams die if you let them. I almost fell into that trap—caught up in the thug lifestyle—but I realized that wasn’t the way. My music isn’t just about where I’ve been, it’s about where I’m going. It’s about proving that there’s more to life than what the streets offer.

People have always told me I had the voice for this. I first knew I had something special when I rapped over the legendary beat “Can’t Leave You Alone,” and people wouldn’t stop telling me to keep going. That was in 2003—and I’m still here, still grinding, still proving myself.

Yeah, I’ve done big numbers, headlined major shows, and stood on stages next to some of the biggest names in the game—but none of that defines me. I’ve put out 1,200+ songs, rocked crowds from 200 to 3,000+, and ran up over 800,000+ downloads and plays worldwide. My mixtapes on DatPiff alone pulled in 300,000+ downloads. But that’s all old news.

In this new chapter, I’m only as good as my last album—and right now, I don’t even have one because it’s been so long. But that’s about to change. This time, I’m doing it like never before. No gimmicks. No facades. No industry politics. Just real rap.
